Getting here;
To get to Waiheke Island take the Sealink (Half Moon Bay) car ferry to
Kennedy Point (45 minutes) or
the Fullers ferry from Auckland CBD to Matiatia (35 minutes)
Drive 15 minutes to the garden. Go to map
Rental cars are available from Matiatia.
or, take the Rocky Bay bus from Matiatia plus a five minute walk from the
Margaret Reeve Lane/O'Brien Road corner.

Opening time;
Every day from 10am, Allow between 60 and 90 minutes.
Parking;
If the gateway chain is closed park on Margaret Reeve Lane and walk the 150 metres
to the garden office.
Or ring the gate buzzer for vehicle entry to the carpark at the garden office.
Cost;
$10 per adult. Children under 15 free.
Please;
No dogs, no smoking, and no vehicles past the garden office.
Wear walking shoes, especially after rain and in winter.
Minimal fitness required.
Facilities;
In the garden office there are maps and an information sheet.

Bags can be left in the garden office.
There is a toilet in the garden for visitors, a tap with clean drinking water,
and seats for rest.
